The Fourth ESD Fire Fighting Academy's Class of 2026 graduated Friday, July 17, 2026, in Jasper. The Jasper Fire Department's conference room was packed for the ceremony, held at the Jasper Fire Department on Water Street after months of classroom and hands-on training at the Charles Gee Training Facility on Jasper's east side.
ESD #4 Coordinator Brad Parson presented certificates to graduates from districts, including Hunter Hightower, Kenneth Jones, Clyde Hicks, Sage McDonnell, Jonathan Phillips, Brandon Broxton, Shannon Woods (top graduate with 97.15), Haley Stephens Teets, Macaylynn Power (top Beach Grove graduate with 88.28), Larahly Self, J'Lynn Cherry, Rayley Lebouf, and Shaggy White. The program emphasizes more than basics, preparing firefighters for the range of situations they may face.
