Nearly 30 volunteers from three upper Northumberland County fire departments spent part of a Saturday morning training near Potts Grove. The Milton Fire Department hosted the session, with crews from Turbot Township and Potts Grove taking part to sharpen firefighting skills.
The multi-department session included hands-on drills, including hose-line work and an interior search exercise using a mannequin. Fire engines and a tanker from the participating departments were on site to support the training.
