MetroGAS and the Argentine Firefighters Foundation formalized an agreement to deepen joint work focusing on training and preparing emergency forces for crisis situations related to natural gas. The training occurs in a unique facility—a simulated city designed to recreate risk scenarios under safety conditions—where both external and internal company personnel receive instruction.
The program covers gas industry basics, fuel identification, firefighting, and gas evacuation systems, combining theory and simulated exercises to equip volunteer firefighters with practical tools. The agreement was signed at the CET training center in Llavallol, Buenos Aires. Over the past three years, the initiative has trained more than 800 firefighters, with plans to extend to the entire MetroGAS distribution area.
