Visalia, Calif. — Visalia firefighters recently used a commercial building scheduled for demolition to conduct hands-on training in ventilation operations.
The structure was provided by a local construction company before demolition next week.
Crews practiced cutting and ventilating a commercial structure, giving firefighters experience in a realistic setting while improving coordination and preparedness for structure fires.
