Germany — Firefighters from a unit conducted its first Deployment for Training on German soil, over two weeks in-country, alongside firefighters from a partner wing. The purpose was to build combat-ready skills through hands-on training rather than routine responses.
Crews trained in vent, enter, isolate and search techniques, forcible entry and ladder operations, rapid intervention team rescue, and hose advancement. The exercise combined training and on-duty work shifts to mirror real operations, and provided senior instructors a chance to mentor junior members. The experience was expected to boost readiness and improve integration with joint and international partners if called upon.
