Mark Haugh is a fire service professional, training officer, and media leader with 20+ years of experience across emergency services, digital education, and multimedia production.  As Fire Training Officer with Anderson Island Fire Rescue, he leads certification-based training programs that prepare firefighters and EMTs for real-world response. Mark previously held leadership roles with Clarion Events and PennWell, where he directed large-scale video, podcast, and e-learning initiatives—producing thousands of training and marketing videos while managing high-performing creative teams.
Earlier in his career, he worked in film and music production, touring internationally as a member of Caroline’s Spine, earning a Gold record, and opening for KISS. He is passionate about improving firefighter readiness by combining operational experience with impactful training and content.
                                                                    

Frank Ricci is the author of Command Presence and lead plaintiff in the landmark Supreme Court case Ricci v. DeStefano. A retired battalion chief and former union president of the New Haven, CT Fire Department, he served as drillmaster and the highest-ranking chief in Special Operations Command. He advises the FDIC and Fire Engineering boards, qualifies as an expert witness in court and administrative cases on hazmat incidents, structure fires, and promotional exams, and is a fellow at the Yankee Institute, tackling state and national labor issues.
