Elmsford, NY, will host the 26th annual Lt. Andy Fredericks Memorial Seminar and Exhibits.
For 25 years, the Elmsford Fire Department has hosted the seminar to honor Lt. Fredericks and to emphasize training, preparation and knowledge sharing among firefighters. The event grew from a learning opportunity to a lasting tribute after the loss of Lt. Fredericks and the entire FDNY Squad Company 18 on September 11, 2001.
The organizers say continuing the tradition honors Andy’s legacy by advancing training and keeping firefighters prepared.
The 2027 speakers include Ray McCormack and Mickey Farrell.
